As Kaarnavilla turned half a year old, the idea of owning a brick-and-mortar store became clearer. We wanted to open a store in a place in our own hometown, Turku, where there was no similar store focused on gifts and everyday objects yet.
Dreams come true
It's been 23 years since Päivi ran a small shop in her own home, where she sold handmade postcards and jewelry to relatives. Yes, it was busy when the relatives came to the village and the shop wasn't up yet.
Back then, little Päivi would not have believed that 23 years later he and his partner would open a real store.
19th century stone pedestal
We found the perfect store space for us in an idyllic 19th-century house in Turku's Kupittaa. Our store is located at Itäinen Pitkäkatu 3A, 20500 Turku.
During October, we will renovate the space to suit us. Because recycling is important to us, we look for all Kaarnavilla store decorations and furniture used all over Finland proper. With the exception of one armchair, we succeeded in this, so you are also welcome to admire the recycled interior!

We are also flexible regarding opening hours - please contact us if you would like to visit our store outside of opening hours.
