These Terms and Conditions apply to the Kaarnavilla online store, operated by Double Effect Oy, available at kaarnavilla.fi. By placing an order in Double Effect Oy's online store, the user agrees to these terms.

SHOPPING IN THE ONLINE STORE
You can shop in our online store at any time of day. We sell products made by small Finnish businesses. Once you place an order and accept the terms and conditions, you will receive a binding order confirmation at the email address you provided. As the service provider, we reserve the right to reject an order. The buyer agrees to provide accurate information when placing an order.
The content of the online store (including drawings, images, sounds, videos, graphics, and text) is the property of Double Effect Oy and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. Users are not allowed to download, modify, transfer, transmit, copy, or sell the content or parts of it without prior written permission from Double Effect Oy. Users may print and download these terms for personal use.
PAYMENT METHODS AND PAYMENT SERVICE PROVIDER
The payment intermediary and service provider is Paytrail Oyj (Business ID: 2122839-7), in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj will appear as the recipient of the payment on your bank statement or credit card bill and will forward the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj holds a payment institution license. For complaints, please contact the product provider directly.

PRICES
The product price is the one displayed on the online store at the time of ordering. The service provider reserves the right to reject an order, e.g., if there are changes in product availability or a clear pricing error (such as a missing price).
For domestic orders, delivery and handling fees will be displayed at checkout. Pickup orders are free. The exact delivery costs are always shown before payment at checkout.
DELIVERY TIME
Orders placed in the online store are generally processed within two to three (2–3) business days. If there are exceptions to processing times, this will be indicated on the online store's homepage.
The delivery time depends on the selected delivery method, the delivery address, and any exceptional circumstances faced by the delivery service provider (e.g., strikes). Currently, domestic deliveries mainly use Posti's services.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS
CANCELING AN ORDER BEFORE DELIVERY
If the order has not yet been shipped, the buyer must contact customer service via email at info@kaarnavilla.fi. The email must include the buyer's name, address, and order number. The service provider will refund the canceled order within 14 days.
RETURNING DELIVERED PRODUCTS
Returned products must be in their original packaging and in salable condition. Customers have a 14-day return right, which does not apply to cosmetics, food items, gift cards, or customized products.
Returns are made at the customer's expense, with a handling fee of €6.90. If you wish to file a complaint or return a product, please contact info@kaarnavilla.fi. If you want to cancel the purchase, the item must be returned no later than 14 days after submitting the cancellation notice.
REFUNDS
We will refund the amount to the customer after the return notice has been made and the returned products have been received.
Refunds will be processed using the same payment method the customer used. There are no additional costs for refunds. Upon the customer's request, refunds can also be issued as a gift card or by other methods.
Note! Failing to pick up the order is not considered a return unless a separate cancellation notice has been made.
CHANGES TO TERMS
Double Effect Oy reserves the right to change Kaarnavilla.fi, its practices, and these Terms and Conditions at any time. If changes are made, the service provider will announce them on the Terms and Conditions page of the online store. The modified terms apply to orders placed after the announcement of the changes.
LIABILITY
Double Effect Oy is not responsible for indirect damages unless caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
Applicable law and potential disputes: These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes will be resolved in Finland at the District Court of Southwest Finland.
If a dispute regarding the sales agreement cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi).
Before submitting a case to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact the Consumer Advisory Service (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).
